November 2, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Reserve Bank of Boston (FRBB), and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (FHLBB) are co-sponsoring a forum entitled: Community Investing: Understanding CRA and Community Development.

This training and dialogue event is designed for bankers and community organization staff interested in obtaining an understanding of the federal Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), with examples of successful partnerships that help promote community development. Participants will gain insight into the types of activities that qualify for CRA consideration and key factors to consider in developing mutually beneficial partnerships between financial institutions and community organizations. Registration and morning refreshments will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the forum will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will also be provided.

There is no cost to attend the forum, but limited space requires advance registration. The registration period closes on Thursday October 26, 2017 – earlier action is recommended.
